Elm Court
310 Old Stockbridge Rd, Lenox, Massachusetts 01240Please Note Elm Court is currently under construction and is set to be fully restored by 2020. Check in next summer (2019) for updates on special events.
Elm Court is a former Vanderbilt mansion. Built in 1886 by the granddaughter of Cornelius Vanderbilt, the property remained in the family for 126 years, the longest of the Berkshire Cottages.
Ceremony: Elm Court is a private wedding venue, therefore you and your guests are able to celebrate the big day without any outside parties nearby. There is plenty of flexibility for your ceremony, so your ideas and dreams for the perfect “I Do’s” will come to life. Exchange vows outside surrounded by the stunning architecture, or choose the indoors if you’re looking at a cooler fall/winter wedding.
Reception: Celebrating your marriage with friends and family is one of the best parts of a wedding. Whatever you dream of, Elm Court can surely make it happen. Do you want to dance on the estate lawn under the stars all night? No problem. Do you want your guests to be surrounded by decadent indoor decor and get a feel of the history? Again, no problem.

The Mount, Edith Wharton's Home
2 Plunkett St, Lenox, Massachusetts 01240The Mount is a National Historic Landmark and cultural center that celebrates the intellectual, artistic, and humanitarian legacy of Edith Wharton.
Ceremony: Two stunning gardens are available for the exchanging of vows; the French Flower Garden, inspired by the gardens at Versailles or the intimate Italian Garden, inspired by renaissance architecture. Spanning 50 acres, there is plenty of room for your guests to wander and observe love at its peak.
Reception: The mansion plays host to your guests as they wander around during cocktail hour, with the chance to take in the beauty and history of this estate. Mingle on the terrace that overlooks the immaculately manicured grounds. On your day The Mount is closed to the public, so you and your wedding guests can enjoy the mansion to yourselves!

The Wheatleigh
11 Hawthorne Rd, Lenox, Massachusetts 01240For many years the largest portion of the 380 acres Wheatleigh estate was used as a working farm. The Count and Countess resided in their “summer cottage” – along with forty in help for only six weeks a year. Their permanent residence was on Fifth Avenue in New York City. During the “Gilded Age” Wheatleigh was the site of many grand parties and musical events.
Ceremony: Enjoy the opportunity to use the Wheatleigh as your own private estate for a weekend. Envision your wedding day come to life among 22 acres of beautiful Berkshire land. Present yourself cascading down the lovely staircase (perfect for wedding pictures) or stroll through the garden to meet your soon to be "better half".

Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum
104 Walker St, Lenox, Massachusetts 01240Ventfort Hall, built by George and Sarah Morgan as their summer home, is an imposing Jacobean Revival mansion that typifies the Gilded Age in Lenox.
Ceremony: Say your vows in one of the refurbished rooms in this lenox “cottage”. With different rooms accommodating different quantities of guests, you will be able to choose the room that best suits your needs.
Reception: The main room is the best spot for you and your guests to dance and celebrate. This area was the original spot where the Morgans entertained their guests with music and dancing. Why not recreate something similar?
