'The Day'

Open to all intermediate and advanced dancers ages 12+

Wendy Whelan, legendary dancer and recently named New York City Ballet’s Associate Artistic Director, leads a classical ballet technique class and shares the expertise gained through more than 30 years with the New York City Ballet. Participants will be led through a warm-up and exercises that will explore diverse dance techniques from Whelan’s repertoire while focusing on the strong positioning and energy of the body.

Please wear comfortable clothing to move in and ballet shoes.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged online or call 413.243.9919 x166. Pre-registration opens at 9am on Monday the week of class. Walk-ups are accommodated as space permits. Quiet observation welcome unless noted otherwise.

All participants require a signed liability/media release waiver. Participants younger than 18 require a parent/guardian signature. Liability/media release waiver can be completed online when you pre-register or by downloading a hard copy.
