Suffragist Stories with Julie Gorman

Longtime Naumkeag guide Julie Gorman shares her passion for the women’s suffragist movement on the centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women–but, still, not all US citizens–the right to vote. Julie tells the stories of the women who drove the movement, with discussion on how the Choate family was involved.
