Delightful & Delectable Holiday Market Great Barrington Arts Market

Announcing the return of the Great Barrington Arts Market (GBAM) annual Delightful and Delectable Holiday Market, a unique holiday sale featuring the best of the Berkshires handmade gifts and delicious giftable treats. The holiday market returns to the beautifully restored Saint James Place on Main Street in Great Barrington, MA.

GBAM’s mission is to provide revenue for Berkshire based/local artists and offer locally made products to consumers in a holiday market venue.

The Delightful and Delectable Holiday Market will coincide with special holiday programming at Saint James Place. This collaboration will offer attendees a unique experience to peruse and shop a beautifully curated market before and after a festive Saturday performance by Olga Dunn Dance Company. To purchase tickets to the Olga Dunn Dance performance contact Saint James Place.

Braise Worthy will be onsite all weekend selling hot meals featuring their signature braises to enjoy while you shop. Gluten free, Vegan and Omnivorous options.

Market founders Kathryn Burkle and Molly de St André are both artists (of KathrynBee Designs and Petit Pilou/Moho Designs/Berkshire Four Poster) who loved the idea of helping connect other local craftspeople with a viable market opportunity and wanted to see Great Barrington’s summer and winter markets expand. Now Delightful and Delectable market managers Molly de St André and Kristen Kanter (JK Custom Furniture & Design) are taking the vision to a new level, with delicious local food and an expanded group of local makers. “This year’s lineup is amazing,” says Kanter. “We have so many applications that we are able to choose the best of our region’s local products. And being in proximity to the Hudson Valley and Northwest Connecticut, allows Delightful and Delectable to have a wider pool of talented makers, setting our market apart from other Berkshire based holiday shows”.

De St André and Kanter believe that the conscious shopper recognizes how important it is to support the local economy and that a venue for artists to sell their work directly to the community is an obvious match to vibrant downtown Great Barrington. In a community where so many residents believe in the importance of keeping dollars local, GBAM offers locals and tourists a festive and unique shopping experience.
