Join Lisa every Thursday, 7:15 - 8:15am from Nov 7th-Jan 9th for a special 8-week series of Vinyasa flow yoga. Reduce Holiday Stress with flow yoga.
This class is designed to begin with a warm-up to prepare the body for a moderate Vinyasa flow, and move through postures using Sun Salutations. Coordinating Breath with Movement as the flow builds, is essential for students to receive the most benefits while taking a yoga class. This class strengthens the body. Students are invited to focus on the breathing while flowing through the postures. This allows focus through meditation and breathing exercises.
Pre-registration for the series is accepted to guarantee your space. Drop-ins allowed. $90 for the series, or $10 drop-in. Cash or check payable to the instructor. Studio is elevator Accessible. About the Instructor:
Lisa is a Kripalu certified 200 hour Vinyasa yoga teacher. She is a long time yoga enthusiast, who has been practicing yoga since 1999. She is very passionate about yoga; her styles include traditional yoga, Hot Power Yoga (Baptiste yoga), Vinyasa yoga, Bikram Hot yoga, Hatha yoga, and Kriya yoga.
Later, exploring other types of yoga and meditation, as her practice grew deeper, Lisa, then started practicing Bikram Hot Yoga. She realized how healing this type of yoga is for the spine and nervous system. Being an athlete for outdoor sports, yoga has really helped balance life for Lisa. She continues to grow her yoga practice, and hopes to share this love of yoga to her students. She also currently teaches SUP Yoga (Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga), in the Berkshires, Massachusetts. She is a ski instructor in the winter, as well as, a tennis coach in the summer. Lisa is an artist, with a contemporary style and uses nature in her art work.
