Pumpkin Carving Spooktacular

Berkshire AthenaeumThe Pittsfield Public Library, in partnership with the Berkshire Seed Library, is excited to host its second annual Pumpkin Carving Spooktacular! Come join us for a day of spooky-themed events for all ages on Saturday, October 27, from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.
We'll provide the pumpkins, courtesy of Whitney's Farm Market & Garden Center, stencils, and markers, you bring your imagination and sense of wonder! All attendees are encouraged to wear costumes. Don't have a costume? No problem. The Children's Library will have a face-painting station and a mask-making craft.
But that's not all!
Pittsfield CFCE will be putting on a StoryWalk of The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams. Follow along each page of this children's classic throughout the Library and you too can clomp, clomp, shake, shake, clap, clap along with the spooky characters!
There will be apple cider, hot chocolate, cookies, candy, and apples courtesy of the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum
The event is free and open to the public. Pumpkins cannot be reserved, and will be available on a first-come-first served basis. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
