Get your goggles because it’s time to Be A Chemist! The Berkshire Museum is once again partnering with GSK and our partners in the community to offer this hands-on program free of charge so that kids can share summer experiences that spark a lifelong interest in science and STEM careers.
This summer’s theme is Be A Chemist! Through hands-on experiments, kids will learn about chemical reactions and the many professions that use chemistry every day. Lessons are divided along two themes and follow an inquiry-based approach. Participants will take home a notebook and selected materials so that they can continue their explorations at home.
This summer's programming will be held virtually! When you sign up, your summer learner will receive access to pre-recorded informational videos, packaged materials kits to be picked up, and live hangouts with our museum educators.
(Materials will be available for families to pickup at the library on Mondays.)
