Ian Berg Subject:Matter Co-Presented by Jacob's Pillow

Expect live music and high-flying hoofing at this work-in-progress performance as Boston-based choreographer Ian Berg examines the intersections of tap and jazz, specifically how standards — like “Take the A Train” in jazz and “The Shim Sham” in tap — work to maintain our collective memory.

What to Expect

This event will be “up in the club” with cabaret-style seating. Preferred Ticket buyers get the best seat in the house, general admission seats located by the venue stage. All Preferred Ticket holders receive free museum admission on the day of or day after the show.
