Founded in 1862, the Stockbridge Library, Museum & Archives holds a special place in the life of the town. The lively side of its days and nights includes warm and casual literary gatherings, readings, art receptions, and living history programs. Even though we are a thoroughly modern library – with DVDs and eBooks to borrow, and computers and WiFi for visitors to use – the Stockbridge Library is also still a place to be with books. Come on in, pick one off the shelf, and sink into a comfortable chair in the Bement Room. Or borrow materials from any library in the C/WMARS network – by using this website at home or on a computer at the Library. We look forward to seeing you. –The staff of the Stockbridge Library, Museum & Archives
