Privacy Campground is built against Brodie Mountain in the beautiful, rolling landscape of Massachusetts’s northern Berkshires. Located south of Williamstown, the campground is within easy reach of hiking, boating, and numerous arts activities (museums, theatre, music, dance, historical attractions).
Fully designed, built (in 1973), and owned by its original proprietor, Privacy Campground is all about family. It has nurtured a full generation of campers, who continue to return with their own families and friends. From the children’s playground to the well-constructed shower rooms, from the walking trails to the sauna, Privacy Campground creates experiences that draw families together in fun and a shared sense of caretaking.
Privacy Campground is all about privacy, too. Whether you are enjoying some time away with friends or taking an extended vacation with your children, you will find the perfect secluded tent or cabin site at Privacy Campground. You will also find community, for Privacy Campground is not just a campground; it is a home away from home.
Privacy is also the first green Campground in the Country. Since 1994, 100% of all the power comes from a hydroelectric power plant; there is also a wind generator, solar panels and a gravity water system.
