A cooperative is a business that is owned and governed by the people it serves. The business exists for the benefit of those member/owners and the community in which they live.

The Co-op is located at 42 Bridge street in the center of Great Barrington, Massachusetts. They are one block off of Main Street.  Main Street is the culmination of MA Routes 7, 41 and 23. Bridge Street is located at the traffic light on the southern end of the downtown block across from Town Hall and The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center.
