The Housatonic Flats Reserve boasts over ½ mile of frontage on the Housatonic River that is perfect for wildlife viewing and fishing. There is a mown path skirting oxbow wetlands and tall floodplain forests of cottonwood and red and silver maples. Keep an eye out for wood ducks, beaver, otter, and large carp patrolling the river’s edge.
