    With 22 kilometers of groomed and tracked ski trails, you will ski alongside beautiful brooks, beaver ponds, stone walls, lakes, fields and mountains where nature abounds. Our trails meander through old wood stands, which gives you the feel of being in the wilderness. Other trails are wider for excellent ski skating. Snowshoe trails are maintained just for snow shoeing for those who want that experience.

    Our beginner, intermediate, and advanced trails are machine groomed every day. We use specific grooming equipment for every type of snow condition. Tracks are set for diagonal skiing and there are skating lanes on some trails. One trail is kept natural for that back woods experience. The snow shoe trails are packed and marked as they meander through the dense forest. At the summit of the hill you can see Mt. Greylock, the highest point in Massachusetts.

    Hilltop Nordic Center when in season offers Rossignol equipment rental and PSIA certified instruction by appointment. Hilltop Orchards welcomes skiers and non-skiers alike. The Barrel Room has comfy leather couches, a huge natural stone fireplace and LCD TV. Warm up with some hot chocolate or cider after you ski or just relax by the fire with a glass of wine. New Rossignol cross country skis available to rent on-site

    Renowned for its Nordic skiing, Notchview also entices year-round adventurers for hiking and birdwatching. What makes Notchview a special place? 

    With more than 3,000 acres of rolling terrain, Notchview offers an idyllic escape for winter sport enthusiasts, especially cross-country skiers looking for a brisk outing. Seventeen kilometers of trails are groomed and track-set for classical cross-country skiing; eight kilometers are groomed for skate skiing. A separate trail system is groomed for “skijoring,” or skiing with dogs. You can also go off track and explore the backcountry, or snowshoe alongside the ski trails. One day ski rental packages available and include boots, poles, and skis.

    Twenty-five kilometers of trails ranging from gently rolling groomed and track-set loops to challenging back-country routes await skiers of all abilities.  Designed specifically for classic skiing, our trails are generally too narrow in flatter areas to accommodate skate skiing.  A favorite destination is the summit of Lone Boulder Hill, where a large glacial boulder stands guard near a breathtaking 3 state vista. Don't let the lack of snow in your backyard fool you; high elevation here assures some of the best natural snow conditions in Southern New England. 40 years of constant refinement of the trail system and grooming equipment have resulted in great skiing, even when you'd least expect it. The emphasis in developing this exciting trail system has always been to blend exhilarating outdoor fun with a sensitivity towards the natural environment.  We rent complete ski outfit w/ Rossignol equipment, all sizes of cross country skis/boots/poles.
