Yes, we have many restaurants and pubs that offer a welcome smorgasbord of beer options bottled and draft, but there's nothing like getting your product right from the source.

Barrington Brewery & Restaurant

A lot of dishes include their hand crafted beer as an ingredient, such as Semolina Ale Bread, beef & vegetarian chilis, Cheddar Ale Soup, and Chocolate Stout Cake- just to name a few. Stop in for a bite to eat and a quick brew or you can even pick and choose your favorites and take them home with you. From Signature Ale's to seasonal, Barrington Brewery will surly have a beer for even the neswest beer enthusiast.

Berkshire Brewing Company
12 Railroad Street, South Deerfield, Massachusetts 01373Berkshire Brewing Company takes pride in their beer and lagers- brewing unfiltered, unpasteurized beers that contain no chemical additives or preservatives. They produce year round, seasonal and offer frequent brewers specials. Take a tour (Saturday's @ 1PM) and learn all about the process of brewing, then stick around for a tasting. If you can't make a tour, scroll through the website for the virtual tour. Although you cannot buy their beer directly at the brewery, many local retailers carry the brand. Big Elm Brewing

From their 413 Farmhouse Ale to their American Lager, locals and tourists alike, can't get enough. Big Elm Brewing's tap house is open Thursday through Sunday where you can stop in and enjoy a pint or pick up a 6 pack to go. They offer free tours on Saturdays, where you can learn how they make one of the best local beers around.

Spend some much needed down time at their tap room and brewery located on the Mass MoCA campus, while sipping on your beer of choice, engaging in conversations with your friends and family. Not only is this a great spot to grab drinks, its also perfect for holding events. There's always something going on here, whether its private or public, be sure to see whats up and coming.

It's a bit of a drive, but well worth it for anyone looking to try something new and inventive. Live music and trivia nights are just some of the events going on here during the week, so be sure to drive the extra mile and sip on a Nor'Eastah IPA or Farmer's Daughter.

Shire Breu-Hous

One of the newest brewery's around, Shire's brewpub is conveniently located in the old Crane Stationary Factory in Dalton, MA, and offers more than just tasty beers. Breu-Hous Brunch is offered every Saturday from 10-2. Events are hosted here often, ranging from live music to a private event party for your dad's 50th. Stop in for a drink or pick your favorite and take it home with you. If you can't make it to the brewpub but still want a delicious, local beer to sip on after a long day, stop in one of the package stores around Berkshire County that sells them.

Wandering Star Brewery
11 Gifford Street, Pittsfield, Massachusetts 01201Wandering Star, located in Pittsfield, Ma, brews and self distributes its beer from a 15 barrel brewery and tap room. Open on Saturdays from 12-4, you can come in and get a tour, a tasting and off-premise sales. Although this brewery is not open quite as often, a Saturday afternoon will be well spent here, as their beers do not disappoint. Wandering Star hosts many public events throughout the year, as well as plays host to private events.
