The Starving Artist is a local family run creperie & cafe located on Lee’s historic Main Street. This cafe, housed in the 150 year old Bookless Building, makes for a scrumptious and engaging pit stop during your Sunday adventures in the Berkshires. Featuring plentiful, local, organic, gluten sensitive and vegan options, this gem offers a delicious array of seasonal eats as well as entertainment. On Sunday’s, breakfast is served all day while guests enjoy the sweet sounds of live bluegrass, jazz, funk and classical assortment of tunes played by local musicians. Order your crepe (they offer sweet and savory) or treat of choice at the counter and then peruse the Good Purpose Gallery, which adjoins the cafe, and perhaps you will leave with more than just a satisfied stomach. This is a brunch experience that is fun for all ages.

Expansive menu, generous portions, deliciously crafted coffee drinks and breakfast cocktails...we'll say it, Ottos is everything you want in a brunch spot. Oh and did we say it's super affordable? Located in picturesque downtown Lenox, Haven is both a local and a visitor favorite. This is no ordinary “order at the counter” style restaurant, folks. In fact, many joke that perhaps it should have been named “heaven”. This cafe has it all, from a sumptuous brunch menu that focuses on local ingredients to the frothiest lattes on this side of the state. Haven offers a wide array of mouth watering nosh from sweet to savory. If you can’t decide, we recommend ordering an additional item, such as the croissant french toast, for the table to share- nobody will mind...we promise. Make sure to check out the daily specials board as you walk in, and keep a special eye out for the refreshing summer brunch beverages available all weekend!

Blueberry Hill Market Cafe

If you like options (lots and lots of options) then Blueberry Hill is the place for you. This home cooked haven is not exactly in the Berkshires, but close enough, and well worth the drive to New Lebanon, NY. The atmosphere is cozy, country and charming. Mish-mashed tables, chairs and coffee mugs give this local favorite an unpretentious and relaxed air. Take your pick of delicious fresh squeezed juices, seasonally inspired lattes, variety of frittatas, bread puddings, pastries, and the list goes on. In our humble opinion, the perfect brunch at Blueberry Hill includes a table full of shareables like the stuffed french toast and pancakes, to go with your eggs benedict or breakfast burrito... Hey its the weekend, treat yourself!
Insider tip: It's not on the bread menu, but if ordering the breakfast sandwich ask for it to be served on their homemade "english muffin".

Wonderfully shrouded in antiques and knick-knacks, this 125 year old general store warmly invites you in and the pleasantries only continue from there. Touted by many as one of the counties best eateries, Pleasant and Main is a feast for bellies and eyes alike! Favorites include a variety of benedict's, sweet, savory and even gluten free crepes, garden fresh ingredients, passionately crafted espresso drinks and personal service from the owner. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday-Saturday and Sunday brunch until 3:00pm.
Insider Tip: Best when appreciated as a lazy Sunday activity and therefore don't suggest dining here when you're in a rush. Take your time and check out the backyard garden which is just as much an unexpected delight as the inside.

The elegant yet unpretentious Gala Steakhouse is a great option for Sunday brunch-goers. The expansive dining room is perfect for larger groups or those who simply do not want an overcrowded dining experience. Being that the restaurant lives within the Orchard Hotel, you can rest assured that the hospitality and service offered at the establishment will live up to even the highest expectations. As for the menu, you will find a beautifully balanced menu of your typical brunch offerings- a series of Benedicts, eggs your way, and fresh off the griddle goodies, as well as some specials you can only find here- the blue crab and leek omelet, chicken & waffles and lobster sliders to name a few.
Insider Tip: Into fireside dining? Sit in the bar section and cozy up with a fresh mimosa or Bellini. We also recommend calling in advance to reserve a table as the restaurant can get busy during brunch hours.
