This is a 2 part answer. Boasting several performance facilities, the rules for Tanglewood and food can be a little confusing If you are attending a performance in any of the concert halls (Shed, Ozawa Hall etc.) you may not bring food and drink. If you have lawn tickets you are most welcome to bring food and drink.
