Get creative and come along for an exciting morning learning the history and process of developing cyanotype photographic prints, known as solar prints. This unique workshop is lead by the horticultural assistant (and artist) Lee O’Connor. The first hour will be spent going over the history of cyanotype printing, you will then take a walk around our 8 acres of stunning gardens to find inspiration from plant material. Your foraged items will become beautiful works of art as we use the sunlight to expose them onto photosensitized paper. The prints you will make are ideal for handmade cards, artworks to frame or they can be developed into mixed media artwork. This workshop is for beginners and experienced artists alike!
