This class is an invitation to begin a healing relationship with your body through gentle stretches. Trauma lives in body memory and trauma sensitive yoga offers an evidence-based practice, which includes empowerment through choice, non-coercion, body awareness and present moment experience. All levels and abilities welcome.
About the Instructor:
Cate Wolff (Yoga): Cate Wolff has been teaching yoga for over 30 years. Cate is a Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator candidate and teaches trauma sensitive yoga at BYDF. She also designed a method 20 years ago and teaches Ease Does It Yoga using the ballet barre' for folks who want to build strength and flexibility after illness, injury or just being out of shape. Cate has a private practice in PIttsfield as a psychotherapist working with individuals and couples. She offers trauma sensitive yoga privately for the treatment of Complex and Developmental Trauma.
