Spring Barn Dance with DJ Monk-One

DJ Monk-One, aka Andrew Mason, co-founded Wax Poetics Magazine and remains its Editor-At-Large. A respected New York City lifer, he is known for his musical diversity, moving through different eras and styles with seamless grace but always with an emphasis on the dancefloor. In addition to a long-time residency on WBAI-FM and at many of the city's finest, funkiest parties, Monk champions original music on his Brooklyn-based label Names You Can Trust and, as one half of renowned production squad Greenwood Rhythm Coalition, has done remix and original work for labels in the UK, South America, Japan and Europe.
