Breathe, move, stretch and find peace! This Kripalu style yoga class taught by Julie Pellerin-Herrera, Ed.S. , is suitable for all levels. Breathing exercises will be taught and meditation will be woven into the practice in order to integrate the benefits of the postures as well as to tune into the body and the present moment . Modifications and variations will be offered through use of props in order to meet the needs of all practitioners.
About the Instructor:
Julie Pellerin-Herrera, Ed. S.: (Yoga / Kid’s Yoga) Julie has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She became a Kripalu Certified Yoga Teacher in 2003, Certified Yoga Ed. Teacher in 2007 and Radiant Child Yoga Teacher (95 hr) in 2017. Julie also has been a dedicated educator since 2001, teaching literacy and academics to children in various school settings. She practices the Nurtured Heart Approach and provides trainings on this energetic, relational approach to parents, teachers, and administrators. She relies on her daily yoga and meditation practice to help her “stay peaceful and present amidst life’s storms”. On a daily basis, yoga and meditation remind her to live breath by breath, moment by moment, and day by day all the while remaining connected to her higher purpose empowering others to make the world a better place. Julie invites you to join her in finding your still, quiet center amidst life’s challenges through yoga.
