This class offers the basic building blocks of drawing. Working in a supportive atmosphere, students will learn techniques for translating the three-dimensional world into two-dimensions: how to see and what to look for. While learning to use pencil and charcoal, students will develop eye-hand coordination. There will be exercises designed in manageable components sequentially building on previous lessons, demonstrations, analysis of drawings of the masters, and constructive critiques.
