WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE?
June 19 – July 19 | Opening Reception: Friday, June 19, 5-7 PM
What do we hold close? What do we serve? What stories simmer beneath the surface of everyday objects?
“What’s on Your Plate?” invites viewers into the intimate realm of domestic life — through ceramics that cradle, vessels that contain, and still lifes that pause time. This exhibition celebrates the quiet poetry of the table, the kitchen, the ritual of eating and sharing. Each piece — whether glazed, painted, or sculpted — becomes a vessel for memory, identity, and nourishment. Think of it as an altar to the ordinary: a bowl holding more than soup, a plate holding more than food, a painting holding more than fruit.
Featured artists explore how form meets function, how texture speaks of touch, and how composition whispers of longing, loss, or joy. It’s not just about what’s on the plate — it’s about who’s at the table.
