With King Hamlet, filmmaker Elvira Lind turns her camera on her own family, revealing that even celebrated actors live through ordinary moments and real struggles. The film follows her husband Oscar Isaac as he prepares for Hamlet at New York's Public Theater during a transformative period shaped by the birth of their first child and the sudden loss of his mother. What begins as a portrait of creation becomes a meditation on love, grief, and the fragile line between performance and private life.
