First Fridays Artswalk
North Street, City of Pittsfield, MassachusettsThis is our favorite art event in Pittsfield. First Fridays Artswalk was born on May 4, 2012 with the very first night of opening receptions at over 30 locations in downtown Pittsfield. Retailers, restaurants, galleries, banks, offices and more open up areas within their business to host an artist for one entire month.

Berkshire Fermentation Festival

The Berkshire Fermentation Festival is day long celebration of the diversity of all things fermented and crafted. Each year there is an array of local cultured food vendors sampling and selling their products along with demos, lectures, a culture swap, science corner, book signings, raffle, live music, and more.

Lee Founder's Weekend

Freshgrass Festival 2020

Hawthorne Valley Farm Fall Festival

Fall Folliage Festival
785-811 MA-8, City of North Adams, MassachusettsSince 1955, North Adams has held a special week of events showcasing the beauty of autumn in North Adams. Complete with a children’s fair, road race, craft fair and performances, the Fall Foliage Festival is fun for the whole family. The highlight of the Fall Foliage Festival is the Fall Foliage Parade that takes place on the first Sunday of October and marches from the Ocean State Job Lot parking lot on Route 8 through downtown North Adams. Dozens of businesses and organizations take part in the parade, forming a collection of people who showcase the heart of the Berkshires.

Berkshire Botanical Garden Harvest Festival
5 West Stockbridge Road, Stockbridge, MassachusettsThe Berkshire Botanical Garden’s Harvest Festival is held on Columbus Day weekend and encompasses the entire 15-acre Garden campus, which is brimming with children’s activities, rides, and games, entertainment, over 100 regional vendors, a farm market, tag sale and plant sale, and education offerings scheduled throughout the weekend. Proceeds from this event benefit the Garden’s horticulture and education programs.
Insider's Tip: This is as much a crafts sale as it is a harvest festival, so there is something for everyone here.

Lenox Apple Squeeze
Main Street, Lenox, MassachusettsThe 40th Annual Lenox Massachusetts Apple Squeeze is a long-standing tradition in Berkshire County, ushering in the Fall season. Join local shops, restaurants, artisans, musicians, farm stands, & performers as Lenox celebrates the apple harvest with a fun & engaging free street festival for all ages. Some years, they have a Family Fun Zone with games and shows for children, wagon rides around town, a 5k race, and a Children’s Olympics.
Insider's Tip: This is a very popular event with lots of visitors from all parts. A very good place to shop and by some great food from one of the vendors.
